Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker on staff at Flatiron CBT, who graduated from NYU Silver School of Social Work with a Master’s Degree. Sarah has experience working with individuals, groups and families presenting with mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders and trauma and stressor-related disorders. Sarah has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings including Lenox Hill Hospital, Bellevue Hospital and The Institute for Family Health where she worked as a Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and as the Associate Program Director for Mental Health. She additionally completed training at National Institute for the Psychotherapies in Psychodynamic training. 


With extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Sarah uses an integrative and collaborative approach by incorporating a variety of techniques into her work. Sarah creates a warm and non-judgmental environment to help you explore thought patterns and behaviors that are impacting you with the goal of achieving a more fulfilling life.  She strongly believes that building a trusting therapeutic relationship is integral in order for you to feel both understood and supported and to make changes in your life.
